As we all try to keep working during these difficult times, I'am pleased to advise you that the "Merrigum Lions" found ways to continue with the "Calf Scales" project and still work within the guideline's of covid-19. Having secured new premises for us to continue with this fund raising project, I can say we have started to make a few adjustments to the property to make it more user friendly before we can actually start accepting calve's again, which wont't be too long away. The new scales will be located at
1630 Fenaughty Rd. Merrigum.
i have included some pictures of our members who volunteered their time to make this project a reality, as soon as we have more information on the starting date we will announce it.

A Great New Sign For Merrigum
As a result of collaboration between the Merrigum CFA and The Merrigum Lions Club, we are extremely proud to announce that installation of an Electronic Notice Board is now complete and the sign fitted on the west side of CFA. Although this is a work in progress project, the Merrigum community will no doubt see more and more local information being displayed as we improve our skills in managing it.
It is a wonderful project supported by Merrigum Lions, Federal Member Damian Drum with a contribution from the “Stronger Community Program” and our local Primary School who printed all the instruction material for us. This project will no doubt benefit of the community and will enhance the other information platforms currently running.

We hope to have a new location in the Merrigum area as soon as possible, until then we are working with Midland Meats to continue to provide our clients with the best service also to advise you that the Lions club will still receive the same income as before from the sale’s and customers will still receive top dollar for their calf’s.
We ask our customers to continue to support us through this awkward period so we can soon get back to a more normal program.
